Every may in a place called Parentesen an outrageous brännboll(Swedish variation of American baseball or Finnish pesäpallo or Russian game лопта) contest breaks out. The contest itself does not have any meaning in my opinion. It is not very awarding to win it because it means you will have to organize the same competition next year which is quite disturbing when you have a lot of exams. The competition was meant to be a joke which would make people meet and have a nice time together but at the same time nobody wants to lose... The losing team must clean the field which, i can promise, will become a dirty mess by the end of the 2 weeks long contest. Some people try to do whatever it takes just not to lose. I know that some invited professional players to play for them. It makes me laugh sarcastically. Instead of having fun with your friends people become nervous and start unnecessary quarrels with each other.
